Budgieman makes children happy
Budgieman was on BBC Radio London again this Friday 20th March 2009. Vanessa Feltz hosted a phone-in discussing "Do children make you happy". Don has two children of his own, plus he talked about how he entertains children - either on the Southbank, at birthday parties or at schools. He said that he is so proud of his two children and says how their smiling faces make him so happy.
Budgieman sent to school again
Don Crown, Budgieman entertained over 400 primary school children in Brent on 10th March 2009. He is invited every year and always goes down very well. Many of the children don't have pets at home and don't often get a chance to interact with animals. Budgieman gets the kids involved by joining in the songs, watching the budgies perform and take part in the tricks. The teachers claim that learning about caring for animals is an important part of the school curriculum. Don later enjoyed school dinners with the children and teachers.
